Casual Community Support Worker

Esperance Home Care has a casual position available in our Community Care team for a Community Support Worker. This position provides assistance in cleaning, housekeeping, meal preparation and personal care services to older people, and to young people with a disability, in clients’ homes. Relevant experience working with older people and people with a disability will be highly regarded but is not essential. Qualifications in aged care or community services (or willingness to enrol in Certificate III in Individual Support) is essential.

A ‘C’ class driver’s licence, current first aid qualification and a satisfactory police clearance are all essential.

Salary: Level 3 casual – $25.38 per hour.

There are a number of administrative tasks within EHC including front office administration, records management, programme management and in finance.

This helps us to coordinate care to our clients on a day to day basis.

 

Gardening and Maintenance Services

Helping people manage their gardens and small household repairs.

 

Meal Service

Meals are provided in the Centre and to the homes through our Meals on Wheels programme with work for cooking staff and kitchen assistants.

 

Nursing Services

Providing nursing services to people in their homes.
