Assisting people to live independently is one of the most important priorities we have at Esperance Home Care. This is achieved by connecting people to the community and offering choice. The Social Club has developed through feedback from a range of people over time who wanted to have choice in what days, what times, and the types of things they wanted to do as part of getting out into the community.
Our regular calendar of events provides a range of activities including long lunches in the Centre, outings in the bus, going to community events such as the Condingup Show, or participating in special interest groups such as the craft group or the card group.
Joining the Social Club is free and you will receive regular newsletters so that you can select the activities you want to attend – and suggest activities you know are coming up that you would like to attend. Minimum numbers for each activity apply and Julian from the Social Club will contact you to confirm that activities you selected will go ahead. You may decide to attend just one activity or a range of activities.
Please ask your Community Support Worker or call the office on 9083 1800 for a Social Club form and a copy of the newsletter so that you can be connected.
